Design Studio II with Tomás Tironi & Nico Wallace

University of San Diego

"With the intention of blurring the conventional limits between inside and outside, private and public, the studio will explore the introduction of ambiguous spaces in the domestic space, extending the domain of the house into the landscape"

I chose to make a structure that created an indoor door space. The inner patio combined with the angled roofs explores how shadows and form effect space. We were given programs that informed our building style. In this case I chose low and expanded which is noticeable in the layout of the building.
